How to Upgrade the Firmware for UTouch G16 Monitors to 120Hz VersionUpdated 12 hours ago

Regarding the 198 units of UTouch G16 shipped to the German site that were mistakenly flashed with 60Hz firmware, they need to be re-upgraded by updating the monitors' firmware (the hardware control program) to the correct version.

You can click this link (UTouch G16  Firmware Upgrade) to download the files and then follow the firmware upgrade SOP to proceed.

The following is the firmware upgrade SOP:

1.Unzip Customer V1.6.zip, then open the folder and double-click RTDTool.exe, select ISP. 

2.Select AUX here.

3.Choose 0, and check the box as shown in the figure.

4.Load the firmware:

5.Select the two options shown in the figure.

6.Connect the monitor to the original power adapter, then connect it to the computer via USB-C. The computer must be running Windows and have a full-featured USB-C port, and the cable must be a full-featured USB-C cable (with DP signal). Note: Do not disconnect the power during the upgrade process.

7.Click the lightning icon to start the upgrade.
